Happy Fall Promiseland Families,
I am thankful for cooler weather and this new month God has given us to focus our hearts on Him!
If you have recently joined our Promiseland Children’s Ministry community, you might be interested to know that we use The Gospel Project for Kids as our base curriculum. This takes us through the whole Bible in three years! In March we began our study of the New Testament. We have spent many months studying the life of Jesus. For the month of October, we will be taking a look back at some of my favorite lessons from the last 5 months. Since we were not meeting in person for these lessons I thought it was important to go back and do a little review.
Here’s a look at what Sunday’s in October will look like:
Oct. 4- Unit 20:4- Jesus Calls His Disciples (Matthew 4)- for the video on this check lesson check out this post —-> Jesus and His Team of Misfits- Bible Lesson 5.3.20
Oct. 11- Unit 21:3- Jesus and Nicodemus ( John 3)
Oct. 18- Unit 23:1- The Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 7-9)
Oct. 25- Unit 23:2- The Cost of Following Jesus (Matthew 8 & 16; Luke 9 & 14; 2 Corinthians 4:17)
Another special addition this month is our Wednesday Night program for kids: W.O.W.- Worship on Wednesday. In W.O.W. we will worship through song, dance, prayer and hands on activities that will help your kids experience the goodness of God!
