Howdy Promiseland Families,
I have some good news to share with you! Who couldn’t use some good news right now? FREE stuff!! That’s right, free, uplifting, God glorifying, heart warming, mind sharpening, germ free, and kid friendly content! Praise God for the generosity of so many of the ministries I use for Children’s Ministry.
It is easy to feel discouraged and overwhelmed in these days of uncertainty, but we must be actively guarding our heart and mind from being pulled into the mindset of the world. I hope that these resources can be useful tools to keep sharpening your faith. The lost world needs to see the Light in us! Our kids need to see the Light in us! Let’s set our mind on Christ and the Hope that He brings us, in every situation!
- Seeds Family Worship: Worship and devotionals for the whole family!
- Slugs and Bugs: Slugs and Bugs Sing the Bible cds are my favorites for in the car! They have music videos and a Show on Right Now Media, but find some additional free resources on their website.
- Yancy Ministries: Yancy has great worship songs for young kids! We use a lot of her music in the Middles classes.
- New City Catechism app- Teach your kids the basic doctrinal truths of our faith through this free app! My kids love doing this at meal times.
- Empowered Homes– a free online platform with resources for families, created by our very own Katy Church brothers and sisters at Kingsland Baptist.
- Promiseland YouTube Channel– We have our own channel with playlists of the songs we use in Promiseland! I borrow most of my material from other great people, but we have a few videos with some familiar KCF faces. You can learn hand motions to some of your kids favorite songs and worship together!
- Free resources from The Gospel Project: This is the curriculum we use for Promiseland. I will post some content here on our website but you can get more from theirs! (Gospel Project website or follow steps below)
The Gospel Project has created a LifeWay Kids at Home Digital Pass experience. This Digital Pass experience is a temporary resource to supplement Sunday School from home. There will be a video session with a downloadable Activity Page and One Conversation Sheet available weekly. To get the Digital Pass and access LifeWay Kids at Home, please have each of your families follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to my.lifeway.com/redeem
Step 2: Register if you are a new user or log in if you already have an account

Step 4: Click “Access” (if prompted to sign in again, sign in) and then click “My Dashboard,” and go to LifeWay Kids at Home
Step 5: Download your Activity Page and One Conversation Sheetto use as you watch the video session
